My Favourite Films

I'm a big fan of uncomfortable films and strongly believe in the right for uncomfortable and distrurbing concepts to be put to screen.

However, I dislike the shock value a lot of promotion of "disturbing movies" garners, some of the best films that have stuck with me aren't necessarily the most extreme of violent, but the ones that build true emotion and connection with the characters on screen.

Not quite sure what this section is about, just some thoughts really but I think it's important to support indipendent directors pushing the boundaries of cinema without venerating creeps who love to see the suffering of women and children (I'm the no. 1 hater of a serbian film for this reason)

I love New Queer Cinema, a film movement from the 90's.
